Defense attorneys in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial rested arguments on day 18 after expert testimony describing postpartum psychosis. The psychiatrist stated that Clancy heard voices, felt as if controlled like a puppet, and was frankly psychotic. State lawyers are now calling rebuttal witnesses to address the testimony. A prosecution psychiatrist testified that Clancy told her children "go to God" during the January 2023 stabbing deaths of their two young siblings. Clancy has entered a plea of not guilty on the grounds of insanity. The trial is nearing its end.
