The long-running Festival d'Été de Québec closed with high numbers. Big acts played multiple stages on Grande-Allée and at Parc de la Francophonie. Organisers counted an increased number of visitors than ever before. Opening night had minor issues which might have become a bigger problem. Heavy rain caused headaches on a handful of days. Still, locals kept showing up despite the hurdles. A simple check after the event showed nearly all people were happy with how it ran, even with the bumps along the way .
