Luke Evans leads The Party, a psychological thriller that arrived on ITV on October 11, 2026. The series explores politics, privilege, and class.

Reviews arrived from the Guardian, Telegraph, Radio Times, and the Independent. Critics called it pacey, seductive, and well-cast, pointing to a sharp script and committed performances across the cast.

Evans told the BBC that filming close to home felt like a real pleasure. The show's mood leans into tension and class friction, which hit the mark with most viewers.

Most people watching liked it. Some pushed back online, saying at least one scene was unnecessary. That debate picked up some traction on social media after the first episode.
