Kingborough Lions dumped Melbourne Victory out of the Australia Cup with a 3-0 win at the Showgrounds in Hobart. Around 3,000 fans turned up and watched the A-League side lose pretty badly, the loss ending Victory's cup campaign on the spot. Further south, Melbourne City had a much calmer outing beating Weston Bears 3-0. Both clubs now move on to the final 16 of the cup. Victory will look to reset quickly with a league game right around the corner.
