Michael Taaffe earned his first NFL start. He walked off with his first career interception. The Miami Dolphins rookie safety grabbed a pass from Kirk Cousins to open the half. Taaffe started at safety with Zayne Anderson. Dante Trader Jr. was left out of the starting group. The interception happened on the drive that opened the half. It gave Miami possession for the opening series of the half. Kirk Cousins later wound up with his third touchdown. That put them up 24-13 on the scoreboard. Taaffe's takeaway represented the rookie's maiden NFL interception of his career.
