London police discovered a tiny marmoset inside a laundry bag on a bus last week. Staff spotted the lost animal on July 18. The animal was scared and had no water while trembling. It survived the traumatic ordeal. Animal advocates labeled it an illegal abandonment case. Meanwhile, researchers discovered a previously unknown monkey species in Congo’s Lomami National Park. The discovery came during a standard survey in the Congo Basin.
