'We're fed up': Paris students rise up in a movement that shows no sign of slowing - France 24

French Students Flood Streets in Mass Education Protest

Between 266,000 and 450,000 high school students took to the streets across France on Tuesday in what organisers called "act 3" of an active student campaign. Classes were cancelled at several campuses as clashes broke out, with police making 488 arrests.

President Emmanuel Macron convened an urgent session with ministers at the Elysee Palace in response to the street protests. Demonstrators from Saint-Denis to Paris said they were fighting for improved conditions, with many voicing deep discontent at current conditions.
