Disney has delayed Star Wars: Starfighter and transformed it into a television series. Shawn Levy will direct the project, which is expected to follow The Mandalorian's soft links with the Star Wars universe. Jonathan Tropper wrote the script and claims that fans will embrace the series when it debuts. Disney has also halted all new Star Wars streaming shows for 12 months, making room for this standalone series.
