An American Airlines flight was forced to make an emergency landing in Baltimore. A passenger was bound with duct tape. He was named as Arthur Lundeen. Witnesses said he was taped to a first-class seat after a violent racist outburst.
Other passengers helped hold him down midair. Photos of the scene circulated widely on social media. Reports say Lundeen yelled slurs and turned violent. The plane was rerouted to Baltimore and landed safely. American Airlines said it was working with authorities. No further details have been made public.
